How to make it
- Choose WhatsApp above and enter your number with the country code, digits only. For Bangladesh, 01712 345678 becomes 8801712345678.
- Add a ready-made message if you like, for example "Hi, I would like to order". People can still edit it before sending.
- Style the code, check the scan test, and download it.
- Scan it with your own phone first to make sure the chat opens with the right number.
Tips
- Leave out the plus sign, spaces and the leading zero. Use the country code instead.
- This works with WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business.
- Short messages work best. A very long message makes the code denser and harder to scan.
- Want to change the number or message later without reprinting? Use a dynamic code with the WhatsApp option instead.
Questions
Does the person need to save my number first?
No. The code opens a chat straight away, even if your number is not in their contacts.
Can I change the message after printing?
Not with a static code. A dynamic code lets you change the link, including the number and message, any time.
Does it work with WhatsApp Business?
Yes. The link opens a chat with whichever WhatsApp account uses that number.
What number format should I use?
Country code first, then the number, with no plus, spaces or leading zero. Example: 8801712345678.
